I was asked by a dear family friend to create a ring cushion for her nephew’s wedding. I knew instantly that I wanted to do the Love Letters cushion from Inspirations Magazine designed by Elisabetta Sforza. The first ring cushion was completely based upon the design in Inspirations Magazine and represents the first letter of of their surname. A second version was requested for the second wedding, my friend’s niece. This time the bride asked for both her and the groom’s initials to be included so the design was adapted but was still completely inspired by the original design.

On the back of each of the ring cushions is the names and date of each wedding topping an embroidered spray of yellow roses and forget-me-knots in remembrance of a special member of the family, who was tragically taken away from us.

A third design is now in the planning stage for my friend’s daughter and her wedding later this year.
